Dunklin County Assessors Office - Data Collector


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: THIS POSITION REQUIRES SOME KNOWLEDGE OF BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES AND OF BUILDING AND VALUES; THE ABILITY TO ACQUIRE SKILL IN APPRAISING REAL PROPERTY; THE ABILITY TO LEARN, READ AND UNDERSTAND PHOTOGRAPHS AND MAPS; BASIC MATH SKILLS; BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS; LEGIBLE HANDWRITING.

THE POSITION OF DATA COLLECTOR REQUIRES THE PERFORMANCE OF FIELD AND OFFICE TASKS PERTINENT TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PROPERTY VALUES. THE DATA COLLECTOR Will BE RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLETING All RELATED WORK ACTIVITIES AS REQUIRED; AND THE COMPLETION OF All DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES RELATING TO THIS POSITION WILL BE PERFORMED UNDER THE GENERAL SUPERVISION OF THE CHIEF APPRAISER. THE DUTIES OF THE DATA COLLECTOR Will REQUIRE SOME TIME SPENT OUTSIDE GATHERING DATA PERTINENT TO REAL ESTATE PROPERTIES. THE DATA COLLECTOR MUST BE ABLE TO MEASURE SITES AND IMPROVEMENTS AND DRAW TO SCALE.

Dunklin County Juvenile Office - School Liaison 

This position requires a four-year degree or four years of related experience. Successful applicants will have strong communications skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to employ critical thinking skills toward matters of law and policy. Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office are necessary. 


This position requires a rotating on-call period that entails 24 hour availability. This also position will be required to work nights and weekends and will be required to transport juveniles to a detention facility as needed. 


1) Must have a contract based cell phone.

2) Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. 

3) Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance. 


This is a grant position and subject to grant renewal each year.
